Mr. Ajit Singh
Mr. Ajit Singh is Chairman of ACG Worldwide (formerly the Associated Capsules Group), which is Asia’s largest Pharma Machinery and Consumables Supplier.
He has been a member of the AAiPS virtually from its inception and was subsequently elected as a Fellow of this Organisation. He set up a Liaison Nodal Agency in India to assist AAiPS and members visiting India.
He is the former President of the Indian Pharmaceutical Congress Association (IPCA).
The Indian Pharmaceutical Association (IPA) have conferred their Distinguished Services Award on him. Mr. Ajit Singh was honoured with “Lifetime Achievement Award 2012” by the Indian Pharmaceutical Association (IPA) and Indian Education Society (IES) for his contribution to the Pharmaceutical Industry.
His group was honoured with an Award from UNIDO for Research and Training in the field of Pharmaceutical Technology.
Ajit Singh has brought several Global Pharma Associations to India, with much discrimination of technology and learning for thousands of Indian Scientists and Technologists.
He is also an Advisor to the U. S. Pharmacopoeia (India).
His group has instituted many Awards in the Pharma Industry and Education.
ACG Worldwide has also founded TechnoVersity which along with their Research Affiliate SciTech Centre trains over 2000 pharma professionals annually in India and 600 overseas.
Ajit Singh and his Group has planted the flag of India through their offices and factories in India and overseas and active pharma presence in over a 100 countries.
He was conferred the DIWA Award – 2002 and designated a “Doyen of the Pharmacy Profession” by the Drugs Inspectors Association (DIA) Maharashtra State, Mumbai.
He was nominated to the Board of Pharmaceutical Scientists of the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) as an Expert Member.
He was also nominated on the International Board of the Controlled Release Society (CRS) in the USA and served as the President of the CRS – India Chapter.
Ajit Singh was educated at Millfield School, UK, Cambridge University, UK and the Harvard Business School, USA.
